Draft: Atziri, the Red Queen Preparation Notes

Status: draft and under review. This is not a verified boss strategy.

Scope

The official 0.5.4 Patch Notes state that after killing Atziri, the Red Queen, her Vault has a chance to drop one of four new Orb of Sacrifice currency items. Those currencies upgrade Corrupted Enchantments and randomly remove one Explicit Modifier. This confirms the Vault relationship, but does not confirm a drop rate, the names of all variants, or any encounter strategy.

PC verification checklist

1. Record the official encounter name, current entry condition, location, and any displayed requirements.
2. Capture each observed phase transition, telegraph, damage type, and recovery window without inventing names for attacks.
3. Test one defensive or positioning response at a time; preserve deaths and failures as evidence.
4. Record Vault drops separately from strategy observations, and never infer a drop rate from one kill or treat all four Orb of Sacrifice variants as one item.
5. Re-test only if a later official announcement lists an encounter or currency change; the cited 0.5.4d notes do not do so.

Publication boundary

The final guide must replace every blank encounter field, state the tested character context, distinguish observed facts from recommendations, and list phase/attack evidence. It cannot promise a safe kill, a reward, or compatibility with every Build.
